Dr Penny Seth-Smith ND has been in full time practice since 1994, as a naturopathic family physician, catering to all ages and ailments.
Born and educated in the UK, Dr. Penny obtained a BSc (Hons) from the prestigious Manchester University, before her 4 year training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
In practice she selects from a range of treatment methods, both evidence-informed and traditional, to craft individualised plans. She uses applied kinesiology (a form of bio-feedback) to finesse the selection of synergistic supplements and remedies to address her patient’s current health concerns.
Her focus is always on treating the patient who is suffering from the disease, and looking for the cause of the problem, rather than just addressing the symptoms of the disease.
Dr Penny has a particular interest in complex difficult-to-diagnose cases and the interplay between physical, mental and emotional health. She also has treatments that cater to highly sensitive people.
Her passion is enabling people to become well enough that they no longer need her services.
She is, of course, in good standing with the CNPBC (College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, the licensing body for Naturopathic Doctors in BC), the CAND (Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors) and the BCNA (British Columbia Naturopathic Association).
